Welcome to the delayed opening of Roam-thecomic.com, I hope you enjoy your stay.

As you could have told from the start of this web-site Roam is a western comic. Meaning, its setting is the genre of the old west. When creating these stories, I do like to walk the line of myth and reality of what happened back then. Sometimes I go over one way or the other, but the most important thing is the story itself.

Now the main difference between this web-comic site and others, outside of genre, is that this is not intended to be one long drawn out story with the same cast of characters for years and years and years. The main difference is once the story is done, it's done. I finish and move on to the next one. The joy, for me, is to try and stretch my creative muscles and for you, the reader, to enjoy a variety of different stories. Hopefully down the road I might surprise you with stories of what could have or did happen back in the day.

Now does this mean all of the stories are in one big 'Roam-universe'? Not necessarily. Some stories rise and fall on their own. Some will begin to weave a tapestry.

Does this mean that once I'm done with a set of characters they'll never be seen again? Again, not necessarily. The main character in 'Hell Comes To Helldorado' is percolatin' in my head noodle for another tale. But that's a ways down the line.

Some of the stories will be short. 'Hell Comes To Helldorado' is only 30 pages in length. The next story is something I did five years ago and it clocks in at 168 pages. So there is a bit of a variety.

Every Monday I'll post the pages. 'Hell Comes To Helldorado' will be posted in five page increments. The second story, 'High Plains Warlock' will be posted in 6 or 8 page increments.

There will be a few skip weeks, but I'll try to keep them to a minimum.

So there you go, hope you come often and enjoy my tale-spinning.
