Welcome  Who is this Guy?  The Stories Thus Far    Commissions

This page was one of my biggest regrets when my original pages for a lot of earlier stuff got eaten. not that I don't have the originals, but the fact that I have to re-scan a whole bunch of stuff.

But hope is not lost, as I said before I have the originals. Plus I'm tempted to throw in some stuff I did in High School and before. Well, the stuff that survived. Wait'll you get a load of the Renegade Mutants and Zim, the Arcturan Assassin.

Swords was, simply put, my idea of what would happen if Conan, Elric and Fafrhd and the Grey Mouser met and had an adventure together. As I would never have the rights to any or all of them and the thought of being sued makes me laugh hard. ( I got no money, what are they going to take?) I decided to take the archetypes they represent remold them into characters I create and can move around. I didn't finish this. Sorry bout that. Can't remember if it was girl that brought me down, or the fact that I would be working on yet another project that probably wouldn't be seen. Don't know and I can't remember, but there you are.

And finally, I have posted the covers I made for the 'Swords' comic. They would have combined into one HUGE image. I can't remember how long it took me. Most of the time was probably taken up by me wondering if I could accomplish the task.

And in this corner we have my 24-Hour comic. For the past few years, once a year writers and artists get together to try and do the unthinkable. Produce 24 pages of comic within 24 hours. Many attempt, few succeed. On October 7th to October 8th, 2006 I made the attempt. 24 hour comic day did not officially start untill 7 pm, but I still had to go to work. I had been up since 9 am or so. I packed my truck with my drawing board (the envy of all the other artists) and my artist chair. It was padded and had wheels. I began promptly at 7.

AND I SUCCEEDED. Indeed. Out of 20 to 30 people only four of us finished. I finished mine within fifteen minutes of time up.  YAY ME!

I'd like to attempt it again. But every year I have to work on that weekend. Maybe sometime soon.
