And we come to the end of 'A Man of His Word'. I hope y'all have enjoyed it. Next week, is another Skip Week. Haven't got anything prepared yet. I said YET. But I'll come up with something. I hope. Anywho, after that I'm givin' the site a bit of a overhaul. Nothing to drastic, but I hope that all of y'all like it. Then I start my new strip. this one is a bit open-ended. So it'll go till it runs out. The name of this new strip" The name is

And a couple of things will be different right off the bat. One, the format. No longer will it be vertical comic book type. It'll be horizontal like the classic adventure strips of old. Second, it will be Monday through Friday. Meaning I will post a page a day, for every weekday. If something comes up, illness, whatnot, there will be skip day. Not a skip week. Crossing my fingers on this one. There will be some of things, but I don't want to say anything just yet.

Heh. I'm still typing 2010. But a quick touch of the back button and all is right with the world.

Some of you noticed a small hiccup this weekend. I forgot to register my domain. A drop of money solved that problem. But ain't that always the case. Drawing,drawing, drawing. Managed to get up to page 5 of the new story. Finished it just a while ago. Onto the next 5. I had to buy a new scanner. After 7-8 years, my faithful ol' Mustek gave up the ghost. Well, it still sorta scans. Just not the whole picture. In case any of my faithful readers are wondering, the DONATE buttons works. Of maybe it isn't since it hasn't been used yet. Go ahead. Give 'er a whirl.

Of course, I'll still be producing content of some sort for the amazing, dashing and handsome readers that I have. :)

Working,working,working. Working on a slight redesign of the web-site. It'll be up when the new strip is being posted. Got the first page of the new strip almost done. Well, I had it almost done earlier. Then I, apparently, got a hold of some non-drying ink. An hour after I had inked a panel I went back to erase the pencil work and smeeeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrrrr. Stuff like that has happened before so I gently and gingerly began to try and pick up the faded ink stain.

And tore a hole in the page. Of course, I tore the rest of the page up then. But I've re-drawn the page. Well, got the last panel to go. Then the next four pages to complete the first week. Let's see how they hold up.

Happy Belated New Year Everyone! Sorry about the belated-ness, but when I get sick I get really sick. Mostly sinus and congestion. So New Year's Day through...well, now, I've been stopped up and coughing. Yay me. So I didn't get much work done. HOWEVER, I just finished the art on the final page of "A Man of His Word". YAY ME! I'm not sure how the story holds up. I did some editing as I went and some story got hacked off. It seems to work as a straight ahead type of story. Could have gone darker than I did. But, oh well, what's done is done. I start working on my new project. Can't wait for y'all to see it.

Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful and Merry Christmas. I myself got some cool things. I got a new coat, well, I got the coat before Christmas, seeing as how it was getting cold before. BUT IT COUNTS. Got gift cards. Always welcome. Got a little cash. Also nice. Got a mandolin. Not the musical instrument. I'm talking the food slicer. I'm ready to julienne something. Then I got a nice box set of 44 spaghetti westerns. Seen three of them already. Good, fun stuff. I hope everyone got what the wanted/needed. Okay. Next week, skip week. I've only got 6 more pages to go on 'A Man of His Word:', then onto the next thing. Watching those spaghetti westerns have gotten different stories percolatin' in my head, but I'm still going with what I had planned. Have a safe and Happy New Year.

I wanna wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS from the bottom of my heart! The only christmas song I can tolerate year round. Only two , what are they called, stanzas? Quatrains? Don't know. Doesn't matter. Anyhow, another skip week will be coming up on the first week of the new year. This time, my favorite--Comics. I'm toolin away. Up to page 89 today. I might even make my (self-emposed) schedule. I hope Santa brings y'all everything you want/need. Happy Holidays!

Got nothin' again. A crappy weekend. Had to work. That I had to work was not a bad thing, but didn't get much done so I'm behind. Way behind. Almost done with my christmas shopping. Well, the only person I'm buying for is mom. So that's easy.

Got nothin'. Saw the Walking Dead show season finale. WOW. Saw the Sons of Anarchy season finale. That had some twists and turns I was not expecting and some resolutions that needed to be done. Still drawing. Almost done with page 84 of "A Man of His Word". That means once done just 12 pages to the end. Then onto the next project. That is all. DONATE. Thank you.

Happy Turkey Day to all my readers! Hope you all get good and stuffed and get a whole bunch of well-cooked leftovers for the weekend and beyond!Me? I'll do some cooking and drawing. I've been invited to a few places but I've got to see how far I'll come with these next few pages before I decide what to do.

Oh, and there will be another skip week next week. Don't know what it'll be yet.

Workin', workin', workin' Only had Saturday to do any actual drawing done this weekend. I got 2 pages and 2 panels of the third done. Couldn't come with anything until I had a brainstorm...by drawing a storm. Well, a heavy downpour of rain and some other stuff. Things are clickin'. I don't know how the story will play once all finished. I had the basic idea and chiselled away at it until I got something. Basically I've been writing the story as I went along. Let me know when I'm done and tell me how I did.

Wow. TCM just showed what is billed as the 'Complete Metropolis'. A film foundation in Buenos Aires found a reel that was bought by a private collector in 1927, three months before it was edited down to near incompehensiblity. It had 25 minutes of footage never before seen since 1927. Scenes only rumored of through stills. Then the documentary following was mind-blowing. If it just included the story of the found reel, it would be monumental. But it also showed a bit of how they made films a bit back then. Multiple cameras and then edit the footage for different markets. Fascinating stuff. Plus just watched the second episode of the comic-inspired 'Walking Dead'. Excellent stuff. Man.

Also completely finished the third chapter of 'A Man of his Word'. Onto the fourth and final chapter.

Just got to figure out how it ends. :)

And we're back for the second chapter of "A Man of His Word". I hope y'all are enjoying the ride so far. I'm almost in the final stretch on the story, just got to plot out the final chapter, and then, of course actually sit down and write and draw it.

Another Skip Week. It was a lot of fun putting it together. I hope y'all like it. Next week we go into the next four chapters of "A Man of his Word", then another Skip Week. Still working on the third section. I still would like to have a month lead time. We'll see how it goes.

And this marks the end of Chapter One of "A Man of His Word". There will be four chapters as I am typing this I am halfway through the third chapter. Next week is another Skip Week. Not sure, what I'll be posting. I was going to take pictures of my studio, but for some reason all the pictures I'm taking are blurry. Not shaky. Blurry. I've cleaned off the lens and tried different adjustments but so far, no good.

But as I type this I just had a crazy thought of what to post. Heh.
