Three weeks to go and then High Plains Warlock is done. Yay, me! Still not sure what I'm putting in for skip week, but I'll come up with something.

When I started to 'cut up' High Plains Warlock it seemed to be almost formatted to 8 page increments. I said almost. Maybe I should have adjusted me thinking on that subject. But what is done is done.

Finally saw "Inception". I liked it. It was the Matrix if the Matrix was an intelligent movie. I liked the dream within a dream and the time dilation effect that occurs in the dream within the dream, but all in all I thought Nolan's Memento was a better mind-frak of a movie.

I am currently 'putting the dialogue and making the pages for 'A Man of His Word'. Or at least the first half of it. Another week and I can get back to drawing the rest of it.

Only six more weeks to go for High Plains Warlock. 'A Man of His Word' is offically at the half-way mark. There will be a skip week between the two. I haven't figured out what to put in that time. I actually have to work on a major project for a friend. Not much money but if this project comes to fruition it would be really, really cool. Stay tuned.

Birthday. Saturday. August the 14th.

After my 'puter mishap, some of my files disapeared or got themselves corrupted. So I've started to re-scan about 15 pages that I don't have files of. So of course, my scanner starts to act up. I guess I can't complain to much I've had the thing for half a dozen years or so.... SCREW THAT! I'm goin' to complain DAMMIT. I got stuff to do and I'm tired of these hassles, hurdles and headaches. I want things to run smooth and relatively stress-free.

But I may have some other news coming up that might be something cool. Stay tuned.

All righty then. We are on the third and final act for High Plains Warlock. I hope y'all are enjoying it. Just to let my phenomenal readers know, that my birthday is coming up . Comin' up fast. August the 14th, as a matter of fact. If any of y'all have the wherewithal to do so, I would hope you can make a donation. Big or small, doesn't matter. I mean, I'm not expecting to by a new big screen TV or a new car, ...but if you got some money burning a hole in your pocket, then by all means send that flamin' money my way.

Wow. Not a whole lot of news came out of San Diego this year. A guy got stabbed in the eye. That was it. Granted, the Rocketeer Anthology and Batman, Inc sound cool, but nothing got knocked out of the park.

All righty then. Made a blog archive. Clearing out some space. you can only access itthrough the panel below for now. Next week is another skip week in the HPW story. The last, but I actually found some copies of printouts of what some of the covers to the story I worked on would look like so i hope you enjoy.' A Man of His Word' is progressing sloooooooowwwwwllllllyyyy.Barely half-way through/ Should be close to finished not where I am now. But it has to get done to meet the deadline. Which should be the week of September 27th. We'll see how it goes.

So that is what HELL feels like. So exactly a week after I get my DSL, my laptop comes disengaged from the dock and goes off. When I turn it back on it tells me that I have no operating system. Nothing. So I get another Window XP disc and try to re-install my OS. Well, I either hit the wrong button or the button to recover wasn't there, but the new XP overwrote the old XP and scrubbed it clean. Now my tech guy( that would be my cousin Kevin) managed to recover some files but some are behind all hope and recognition. I will continue the search of what is salvageable. However, as I uploaded all of HPW all ready, we don't need to worry. I just have to do some magic and reload what I need to reload. This week y'all will get last weeks and this weeks pages.

WOW. I say again...WOW. As of Tuesday night, I have real internet. Not dial-up that I've had for years. Real internet. Real internet that I can watch TV and movies online on. Real internet in the fact that I can look up websites that are chock full of graphics and youtube clips and my computer wont have a computer aneurysm. Plus I just uploaded the last 50 pages or so of HPW in about 10 minutes. Which is awesome.
