Those crappy Captain America TV-Movies came out this week on one DVD. I must buy them. Blame the crappy five TV channels in my youth for wanting them so bad. Haven't had much time to enjoy my Netflix, but I plan on making up for it this weekend.That's it. Have a great weekend. I'll do my best to have four pages next week. We'll see.

So I got the Netflix. Free for the first month and then $8 a month. Cheaper than cable/satellite and I get to pick and choose what I want when I want. And they have a ton of stuff. Monday night I watched '13 Assassins' and the 'Once More with Feeling' episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I got a ton of stuff on my queue. Mostly tv stuff, like River Monsters and 15 of the 16 seasons of Top Gear. Awesome. A lot of British stuff and MSTK stuff on there. They even show new episodes of NBC stuff and they just inked a deal with AMC. Has a little buffering problem and my computer doesn't seem to recognize when I'm watching something on it. It goes to screen safe mode. I've adjusted it, but I guess I need to adjust it more. I don't have that problem on HULU. Anyway, new comic day. GO BUY SOME COMICS!

Rainy Sunday was sleepy Sunday. Did NOT get enough done. So only three pages this week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be the posting days. I didn't sleep all day on Sunday, I did sleep late into the morning, early afternoon. I even got up, checked e-mail and then promptly went back to bed for an hour or so. Pitter-patter of gently falling rain, how you seduce me with the sleepy-time.

One of these weeks, I'll start to regulate and keep doing four pages a week, but not right now. On the plus side, no Skip Weeks for the foreseeable future. Knock on wood, kiss the rabbit's foot, pray to the cross.

Today's page has a bunch of exposition. I normally try not to do that, but it snuck up on me. Fun Fact: I forgot what dialogue I was going to put on here. I've told y'all before, sometimes I know exactly what's going to be put on here and sometimes I just have the gist. I forgot both. Until about ten minutes of staring/writing alternative dialogue, then my brain woke up and whispered to me what I was going to put down in the first palace. Or at least the gist of it.

And my second all Photoshop page. I'll try not to do anymore. There will be more explaining next week. As always, I've started laying out of the pages. The dialogue is not exactly where I wanted it, but it works for this page so I'll go with it. No Lucasin' my pages. I live with what I do warts and all. There do seems to be a lot or warts, though. Oh well, there have been some pages I think are just superlative that I have done. You can only sustain a level of awesome finitely.

And introducing my first all Photoshop page. No original art whatsover. The next page will be the same. Speaking of which, no page on Thursday. Friday. Friday, will be the last page of the week. Still having difficulty with the dialogue. Pictures and words not working together. Need a day or two to work on it, but Friday will be the day. Also doing some design work for upcoming pages. The fun part of having ideas is how to incorporate them into the story. Sometimes they have a place, sometimes they wait for a point down the road. Sometimes they go into a different story altogether. Sometimes they enter the story with a little nip and tuck. The two best things about telling stories is ,one, the creating and two, the telling.

Howabout, Thursday, if y'all have time cruise around the rest of the site, for those that have not read the other stories here, and if some of y'all can read 'The Mind of Morgathu' from page one up to now and let me know how it holds up so far. Being in the eye of the storm of the storytelling I'm not sure if it's working or not. I think it is, but I really can't tell.

Okay, GO BUY SOME COMICS!

(Oh, at the store we got two boxes of Soylent Crackers. Someone needs to come in and buy a box to let me know what the taste like.)

Having a bit of problem with the dialogue on the last page this week, but it should be up and reading when it is time. This week,

Monday through Thursday. Just because. After a week off, I'm feeling lazy and need to get things done. Next week, more 'splainin' and then THINGS HAPPEN. Dun Dun Dun. Heh heh heh.

And I AM BACK!

I said I would be. Now let's hope all of y'all are too. FenCon was fun. Had to much fun at all the parties, and had a hard time sleeping in a hotel bed, but fun I had. Fun part: I had asked to be on some panels, some of the comic ones, and Bobb, who was heading programming this year, didn't put me on a one. So, I went to the one called 'DC Relaunch: Marketing Genius of A Comic Book 'New Coke'. I have some knowledge of the subject. About 20 minutes into the panel, Bobb looks at me and goes, ' Didn't I put you on this panel?' The fun part was the point when the panelists where asking me questions.

I think I've rested up since then, But I am feeling tired. It's probably the changing temperatures affecting my sinuses. Aggravating. Anyway, there will be four days this week. I've got three of them done so far. It was a busy and productive Sunday.

And here we are. I will be at FenCon this weekend. Having a good time. I went up to the Royal Chopstix to get some dinner in between setting up the Video Room, where I'll be spending most of the time at the con. I broke open my fortune cookie and got this, 'You will soon be involved in many gatherings and parties.'

As said before, next week will be a Skip Week. Don't forget me. I'll be back on October 3rd. We continue with the story and the explaining and stuff. See y'all then.
