The three men waited. The way-station was quiet,
except for the nervous shuffling of the horses in their pens.
A bad wind was blowing towards them, but still the men sat. They'd
been run ragged and decided to wait it out for what was hunting
them. It was coming on the bad wind and the three men may have
not been ready for what was coming for them, but they had prepared.
The men hoped to turn the tables, but what if it was to late? |
